New orders in German construction down 1.2 percent in August from July

In August this year, the total price-adjusted value of new orders in the overall German construction industry decreased by 1.2 percent month on month and rose by 4.1 percent compared to August 2017, as announced by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis).

Meanwhile, in the first eight months of this year the total price-adjusted value of new orders in the overall German construction industry grew by three percent on year-on-year basis.
