In the January-May period this year, non-financial foreign direct investment (FDI) by Chinese companies totaled $73.52 billion, up 61.9 percent year on year, as announced by China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC).
In the January-May period this year, 1,652 foreign projects were contracted by Chinese companies in 60 countries along the One Belt, One Road area, with a value of $39.11 billion, up 55.9 percent year on year, accounting for 51.8 percent of the total value of new foreign projects contracted by Chinese companies in the given period.
