Passenger vehicle sales in China up 5.0% in January-November

In November this year, production and sales of passenger vehicles in China totaled 3.109 million units and 3.001 million units, up 14.9 percent and 9.0 percent month on month, while increasing by 14.9 percent and 15.2 percent year on year, respectively, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM).

In the first eleven months of the year, production and sales of passenger vehicles in China amounted to 24.459 million units and 24.435 million units, up 4.3 percent and 5.0 percent year on year.

According to CAAM, in November, due to the trade-in policy, local and corporate promotional activities, coupled with the end of the year sprint, helped the passenger vehicle market continue strengthening, resulting in the further released demand for vehicle purchases.
