Peru removes AD duties on Romanian steel products

Peru's antitrust regulator Indecopi revoked antidumping duties on several steel products imported from Romania. The products, which were subject to the duties, covered flat steel products like coils and plates, and certain hot rolled products. According to Indecopi, the duties are no longer necessary, since the Peruvian market is receiving imports at lower prices than Romanian products from third-party distributors like South Africa, Brazil, and Venezuela. The duties were imposed in 2004.
