Market sources have hinted at a possible merger between ArcelorMittal Distribution Solutions (AMDS) and Italy's CLN Group. However, there has not yet been any official confirmation from either of the involved parties.

The Italian group operates in production and distribution of rolled steel sheets for various end-users, specializing in slitting and cut-to-length aluminum, carbon and stainless steel in different sizes. CLN Group already has a partnership with ArcelorMittal which supplies flat and long stainless steel products to the Italian company.

The Italian arm of ArcelorMittal Distribution Solutions is one of the main actors in the distribution, processing and commercialization of steel products in Italy,  with seven centers around Italy.
