Producer prices in French industry down 0.5 percent in Feb from Jan

In February this year, producer prices in French industry were down 0.5 percent month on month, according to the statistics released by France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE). Producer prices for manufactured products in France decreased by 0.2 percent in February compared to January and were down 3.5 percent compared to the same month of the previous year.
 
In February this year, prices for exported manufactured products fell by 0.5 percent and prices of transport equipment decreased 0.1 percent, month on month. On year-on-year basis, in February prices of exported manufactured products fell two percent, while prices of exported transport equipment saw 0.3 percent growth. 
 
Meanwhile, import prices for manufactured products in France in February decreased by 0.3 percent compared to January and were down 3.7 percent compared to the same month of 2015.
