Qianan Steel commissions its CR silicon steel mill No. 6

Chinese steel producer Shougang Corporation has announced that its Hebei Province-based subsidiary Qianan Iron and Steel Co. has produced the first batch of silicon steel from its newly-built cold rolled (CR) silicon steel mill No. 6, indicating that its overall project for the commissioning of six cold rolled silicon steel mills has been completed. Hubei Province-based WISDRI Engineering & Research Incorporation, a subsidiary of Chinese state-owned enterprise China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC), was in charge of construction work for the project.
