Record trading volume of rebar futures at Dalian Commodity Exchange

On Monday, March 21, the volume of rebar futures traded at Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE) amounted to 155.196 million mt, worth in excess of RMB 310 billion, constituting records in terms of both volume and value of rebar futures traded at the DCE in a single day.

On the given date, rebar futures contract (RB1610) offers at Dalian Commodity Exchange closed at RMB 2,147/mt ($330/mt), up 1.32 percent compared to the close of business on Friday, March.
