Rizhao Steel starts construction of cold rolling project

Shandong Province-based Chinese steelmaker Rizhao Steel Holding Group Co. (Rizhao Steel) has announced that construction work has officially begun on the second segment of its new steel production base’s 2030mm cold rolling project. Construction work is being carried out by Shanghai Baoye Group Corp., Ltd (Shanghai Baoye), a subsidiary of state-owned China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC).
 
The cold rolling project will have an annual capacity of 2.80 million mt of rolled steel coil after completion.
