Russian semi-finished steel exports down 20 percent in H1

The Russian Federation's Federal State Statistics Service announced on July 20 that Russia exported 6.97 million metric tons of semi-finished steel products in the January-June period of the current year, down 20.2 percent year on year.
 
Moreover, Russia's semi-finished steel exports in June totaled 1.37 million tons, increasing by 12.7 percent compared to May, and representing the highest monthly volume of semi-finished exports in the last nine months.

According to the Federal State Statistics Service, in June Russia's semi-finished steel exports posted an increase for the third month in a row.
