Russia’s Promko receives new license for scrap processing

Russian company Promko, which operates in the field of steel products supply and recycling of ferrous and nonferrous metal scrap, has announced the receipt of a new five-year license for the collection, recycling and selling of nonferrous metal scrap from the Ministry of Industry, Power Engineering and Science of Russia's Sverdlovsk region.

The company's previous license for the collection, recycling and selling of nonferrous metal scrap issued by the Sverdlovsk regional government in 2004 was effective until July 12, 2009.

Promko processes up to 10,000 mt of scrap per month using equipment supplied by Akros, the French leading manufacturer of balers and shears for the processing of metals and scrap metal.
