Swiss-based special steel producer and distributor Schmolz+Bickenbach Group has announced that its subsidiary Schmolz+Bickenbach International has decided to invest in expanding its global sales and services network by expanding its sales, warehouses and processing capacities in important markets such as the US, Asia and Scandinavia. In taking this step, the company is shoring up its position as a reliable partner providing local supply chain solutions up to just-in-time deliveries of the special steel products from the group's own production units.
By expanding its global sales and services presence, Schmolz+Bickenbach International is strengthening customer service in strategically relevant markets. The sales offices will also push special steel from the group's own production, including products from Deutsche Edelstahlwerke, Finkl Steel, Steeltec, Swiss Steel and Ugitech.
