As per the Orbis Steel Index data, the index movements in the week from October 17 to October 23 as per product are as follows:
Turkish Scrap Index maintained its upward movement. The index value increased by 3.28 percent to 89.84 compared to the previous week.
US (East Coast) HMS I/II Scrap Export Index rose by 4.1 percent to 101.65 compared to the previous week.
Turkish Rebar Index continued to increase, with the index value moving up by 0.89 percent week on week to 91.47.
Turkish HRC Index moved upwards. The index value rose by 1.28 percent to 70.54 compared to the previous week.
Black Sea HRC Export Index switched to upward movement, with the index value rising 1.21 percent week on week to 79.22.
Turkish HDG Index started to increase, with the index value rising by 1.54 percent week on week to 83.28.
Turkish CRC Index increased by 1.72 percent to 80.82 on week-on-week basis.
