Steelco shutting down its Pennsylvania plant

Monday, 11 July 2016 23:59:15 (GMT+3)   |   San Diego

Metropolitan Steel Industries, also known as Steelco, a Bucks County, PA-based steel erection plant founded in 1972 will close its doors on July 15, 2016. The plant's 66 employees are being laid off.

The economic condition of the operation makes the ability to reorganize and move forward unlikely.  Steelco offered metal decking, bridge, reinforcing steel, pre-cast concrete and structural and ornamental steel erection services for various construction projects.
