Stocks of main finished steel products in China down 1.0% in mid-July

On July 20 this year, overall domestic inventories of the five main finished steel products in 21 major cities in China totaled 10.41 million mt, down 100,000 mt or 1.0 percent compared to July 10, as announced by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).

In particular, as of July 20, domestic inventories of CRC, medium steel plate, wire rod and rebar declined by 0.7 percent, 0.9 percent, 3.2 percent and 1.5 percent, respectively, while domestic inventories of HRC rose by 0.8 percent, all compared to July 10.
