Stocks of main finished steel products in China down 2.0% in mid-Dec

On December 20 this year, overall domestic inventories of the five main finished steel products in 21 major cities in China totaled 6.71 million mt, down 140,000 mt or 2.0 percent compared to December 10, as announced by the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA).

In particular, as of December 20, domestic inventories of CRC and rebar decreased by 2.2 percent and 6.1 percent, domestic inventories of HRC and medium steel plate rose by 1.2 percent and 3.2 percent, respectively, while domestic inventory of wire rod remained stable, all compared to December 10.
