Sweden-based H2 Green Steel has announced that it has signed a long-term supply agreement with Swedish truck, bus and construction machine manufacturer Volvo Group for supply of green steel.

The green steel will be produced at H2 Green Steel’s Boden plant in northern Sweden in 2025 and will be delivered to Volvo Group in mid-2026.

Meanwhile, H2 Green Steel will also deliver green steel to Swedish commercial vehicle manufacturer Scania to be used in the latter’s truck production, as SteelOrbis previously reported.
