In August of the current year, Swedish crude steel production amounted to 228,400 metric tons, decreasing by 25.3 percent year on year and up by 32.5 percent as compared to July, according to the latest data released by the Swedish Steel Producers' Association (Jernkontoret).
Meanwhile, in the first eight months of this year, Swedish crude steel output increased to almost 2.86 million mt, down 3.37 percent year on year.
