Swedish crude steel output up 7.6 percent in January-August

In August of the current year, Swedish crude steel production amounted to 376,400 metric tons, increasing by 64.8 percent year on year and up by 15.5 percent as compared to July, according to the latest data released by the Swedish Steel Producers' Association (Jernkontoret).
 
Meanwhile, in the first eight months of this year, Swedish crude steel output increased to almost 3.08 million mt, up 7.6 percent year on year.
