Taiwan’s basic metal export orders down 19.6 percent in January

According to the statistics released by the Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs, in January this year Taiwan's basic metal and basic metal product export orders amounted to $1.8 billion, down 19.6 percent compared to January 2015 and declining by 6.3 percent compared to the previous month. In December, Taiwan’s basic metal and basic metal product orders had recorded 3.8 percent growth month on month.
