Tangsteel’s finished steel exports up 39 percent in Q1

Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hebei Iron and Steel Group has announced that in the first quarter of the current year its subsidiary Tangshan Iron and Steel Co. (Tangsteel) exported 1.0808 million mt of finished steel, up 39 percent year on year, equivalent to 30 percent of its total finished steel production in the given period.

Tangsteel's finished steel exports in the first quarter this year included 401,800 mt of cold rolled flat products, 425,200 mt of hot rolled flat products, 219,800 mt of long steel and 34,400 mt of medium plates.
