Germany-based steelmaker ThyssenKrupp has announced its financial results for the first nine months ended June 30 of the fiscal year 2017-18.
In the given period, ThyssenKrupp registered a net profit of €230 million, compared to a net loss of €721 million recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year. Meanwhile, ThyysenKrupp's adjusted EBIT decreased by seven percent year on year to €1.27 billion.
During the given period, ThyssenKrupp's order intake amounted to €31.12 billion, falling by five percent, while the company's sales revenue went down by one percent to €31.68 billion, both year on year.
For the full year, the company expects consolidated adjusted EBIT of around €1.8 billion (prior year: €1.722 billion), which is at the lower end of the original guidance range of €1.8 billion to €2.0 billion.
