Russia's largest oil and gas pipe producer TMK has announced that it has begun shipments of TMK-GF premium threaded casing to Surgutneftegas, Russia's fourth largest oil producer, to be used in its West Siberian fields.

Accordingly, by the end of 2009, TMK is to deliver 8,700 mt of 146 mm outside diameter Tagmet TMK-GF casing with wall thickness of 7 mm and 7.7 mm, produced at TMK's subsidiary Tagmet. The shipments are carried out by TMK Premium Service Division, which offers a range of patented tubular connections and services, including running assistance, technical support and maintenance.

In 2008, a total of 3,500 mt of TMK premium threaded pipe products were shipped to Surgutneftegas. The supply of tubular goods is carried out within the framework of a long-term strategic partnership agreement between TMK and Surgutneftegas.
