TMK to supply LD pipes for two major Gazprom gas transmission projects

Russian pipe producer TMK has announced that it will supply pipes for the construction of the Power of Siberia and Ukhta-Torzhok-2 pipelines, which are major gas transmission projects of the Russian gas monopoly Gazprom.

Accordingly, the company will supply 32,400 mt of large diameter (LD) pipes for the construction of the Ukhta-Torzhok-2 gas pipeline, and 40,000 mt of LD pipes for the Power of Siberia project. The pipes are electrically-welded pipes with a diameter of 1,420 millimeters and with internal and external anti-corrosion coating. The pipes will be supplied in August and September this year from TMK’s Volzhsky Pipe Plant.
