Tonggang Mining produces 3.155 million mt of iron ore in 2014

Beijing-based Chinese steel giant Shougang Group has announced that in 2014 its subsidiary Shougang Tonggang Mining Co. produced 3.155 million mt of iron ore, equivalent to 100.96 percent of the production target for the year, up 0.73 percent compared to an output of 3.132 million mt of iron ore in 2013. 

Meanwhile, Shougang Tonggang Mining’s outputs of pellets and pig iron in 2014 amounted to 1.2277 million mt and 0.3262 million mt respectively, equivalent to 100.63 percent and 90.62 percent of the production targets for 2014.
