Turkey-based Atakas starts production at its new continuous pickling line

Italian plantmaker Danieli has announced that the new continuous pickling line of Turkey-based Atakas Group at its cold rolled steel production facility in the Mediterranean Turkish city of Iskenderun supplied by Danieli has successfully produced first coil.
 
The new line processes strip in thicknesses between 1.5 mm to 5 mm and widths between 600 mm to 1,550 mm, at a maximum processing speed of 220 mpm, the line incorporates the latest pickling technology to ensure the most effective and flexible pickling action even at low temperature.
