Turkey's basic metal output down 1.7 percent in March from February

According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in March this year Turkey's season and calendar adjusted monthly industrial production decreased by 0.5 percent compared to the previous month, while the calendar adjusted index was up 2.9 percent compared to March 2015.
 
In March of the current year, the index for the production of basic metals in Turkey decreased by 1.7 percent month on month and was down 0.4 percent year on year.
 
The index for the production of fabricated metal products in the given month decreased by 4.1 percent month on month and was down 0.1 percent year on year.
