Turkey’s basic metal output up 0.2 percent in October from September

According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in October this year Turkey’s season and calendar adjusted monthly industrial production decreased by 0.9 percent compared to the previous month, while the calendar adjusted index was down by 3.1 percent compared to September 2023.

In the given month, the index for the production of basic metals in Turkey moved up by 3.0 percent year on year and by 0.2 percent month on month.

The index for the production of fabricated metal products in October grew by 2.5 percent year on year and decreased by 3.5 percent month on month.
