Turkey's basic metal output up 1.4 percent in May from April

According to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in May this year Turkey's season and calendar adjusted monthly industrial production increased by 1.6 percent compared to the previous month, while the calendar adjusted index was up 5.6 percent compared to May 2015.
 
In May of the current year, the index for the production of basic metals in Turkey increased by 1.4 percent month on month and was up 2.5 percent year on year.
 
The index for the production of fabricated metal products in the given month increased by 1.5 percent month on month and was up 5.4 percent year on year.
