Turkish integrated steelmaker Erdemir Group has announced a net profit of TRY 1.16 billion ($398.87 million) for 2015, decreasing by 30 percent year on year, while the company's sales revenues amounted to TRY 11.9 billion ($3.85 billion), up 3.7 percent compared to the previous year. The company's operating income in 2015 decreased by 24 percent year on year to TRY 1.59 billion ($546.7 million).
Regarding the operational results, in 2015 crude steel production at Erdemir Group's Eregli works increased by 1.26 percent year on year to 3.77 million mt, while crude steel output at the producer's Iskenderun works increased by 8.2 percent year on year to 5.15 million mt.
In the given year, the flat steel output of Erdemir Group increased by 6.41 percent to 7.4 million mt, while the company's long steel output amounted to 1.56 million mt, up 35.5 percent, both year on year. Additionally, Erdemir Group's flat steel sales volumes increased by four percent year on year to 7.2 million mt, while its long steel sales volumes increased by 33 percent year on year to 1.6 million mt.
