Turkey’s Tosyalı exports first coil from Sariseki plant to Algeria

Tosyalı Demir Çelik, a subsidiary of Turkish steel producer Tosyalı Holding, which started production in one of the two Quantum furnaces at Sarıseki plant in the Iskenderun second Organized Industrial Zone in Turkey, made its first export shipment, according to a report in the Turkish daily newspaper Dünya.

The company delivered 7,770 mt of SJR355 JR grade coils with a total thickness of 16 mm and a width of 1,500 mm to the spiral facility of its Algeria-based subsidiary Tosyalı Algerie. The given products will be used in the projects of Algeria-based construction company Cosider Canalisation Spa.

The Sarıseki plant will have an annual production capacity of four million mt of flat steel when fully operational.
