Turkey’s welded pipe exports up 7.7 percent in January-October

In October this year, Turkey’s welded pipe exports amounted to 154,938 metric tons, down by 27 percent compared to September and down by 5 percent year on year, according to the preliminary data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). Meanwhile, the revenue generated by these exports totaled $138.6 million, decreasing by 22.6 percent compared to the previous month and down by 22.8 percent year on year.

In the January-October period, Turkey's welded pipe exports amounted to 1,698,277 mt, up 7.7 percent, while the value of these exports decreased by 1 percent to $1.59 billion, both year on year.

In the given period, Turkey’s largest welded pipe export destination was Romania which received 311,277 mt, up 26.4 percent year on year. Romania was followed by the United Kingdom with 131,523 mt and Iraq with 131,523 mt.
