Turkish basic metal manufacturing capacity use increases in September from August

In September this year, the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 76.9 percent, up from 76.2 percent recorded in August, while the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 75.5 percent in September 2015, according to the provisional data released by the Central Bank of Turkey.
                             
Meanwhile, in September of the current year the capacity utilization rate in the manufacture of metal products, except machinery and equipment, was 71.5 percent, decreasing from 71.8 percent recorded in August and down from 72.3 percent in September last year.
 
The capacity utilization rate in Turkey's general manufacturing industry, on the other hand, was at 76.6 percent in September this year, up from the 75.2 percent recorded in the previous month and rising from 75.9 percent in the same month of 2015.
