Turkish basic metal manufacturing capacity use up in May from April

In May this year, the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 76.3 percent, up from 75.6 percent recorded in April, while the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 75.8 percent in May 2015, according to the provisional data released by the Central Bank of Turkey.
 
Meanwhile, in May of the current year the capacity utilization rate in the manufacture of metal products, except machinery and equipment, was 71.5 percent, increasing from 71.2 percent recorded in April and remaining stable compared to May last year.
 
The capacity utilization rate in Turkey's general manufacturing industry, on the other hand, was at 75.7 percent in May this year, up from the 75.3 percent recorded in the previous month and rising from 74.9 percent in the same month of 2015.
