Turkish construction industry output rises 5.6 percent in Q1 2010

In the first quarter of 2010, Turkey's quarterly production index in construction increased by 5.6 percent year on year, while a quarter-on-quarter drop of 11 percent was also recorded, according to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).

In the given period, the country's turnover index in construction decreased by 19 percent year on year and was down significantly by 64.3 percent quarter on quarter.
