Ukraine extends benefits for mining and metallurgical industry

The Ukrainian cabinet of ministers has approved the extension of benefits for domestic chemical as well as mining and metallurgical companies for another three months, up to October 1, 2009.

The decision No. 925, which imposes a moratorium on the increase of railway transportation and electricity supply tariffs for Ukrainian chemical and mining and metallurgical companies, had been due to remain in effect up to July 1, 2009.
