Ukraine’s DMZ sees 57.3% fall in finished steel output in Jan-Nov

Ukrainian billet, long steel and rail producer Dnipro Metallurgical Plant (DMZ), a part of DCH Group, has announced its production results for November and the January-November period of the current year.

In the given month, the company produced 7,100 mt of finished steel, decreasing by 12.0 percent year on year, while its metallurgical coke production dropped by 4.1 percent compared to the previous month and remained unchanged from the same month of 2023 at 23,500 mt.

Meanwhile, in the first 11 months of the year, DMZ’s finished steel output amounted to 42,900 mt, decreasing by 57.3 percent, while its metallurgical coke production came to 266,100 mt, down by one percent, both on year-on-year basis.
