Ukraine’s ferrous metal export revenues down 20.5 percent in Jan-July

In the January-July period of the current year, Ukraine exported $4.02 billion worth of ferrous metals, down 20.5 percent year on year, according to the data released by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine. In July alone, revenues from ferrous metal exports amounted to $680.41 million.
 
In the January-July period, ferrous metals accounted for 20.6 percent of the total export revenues of the country, decreasing from 23.32 percent registered in the same period of the previous year.
 
In the first seven months, Ukraine’s ferrous metal imports increased in value by 14.2 percent year on year to $444.32 million, while in July alone imported ferrous metals totaled $79.81 million.
