Ukrainian steelmaker Metinvest Group has stated that it has invested over UAH 5 million ($121,345) to upgrade the equipment at its subsidiary Central Mining and Processing Plant (Central GOK).

Accordingly, the company has modernized the crushing plant at Central GOK, under which the 196-meter and 281-meter conveyor belts of the two main conveyors, the M-2 and the KS-1, were replaced, ensuring uninterrupted operation of the equipment and longer lifespan. Also, Metinvest upgraded the rail track and crane beam.

These upgrades will enable technical maintenance of the equipment without stopping for long-term repairs for at least a year.
