The largest Ukrainian ferroalloy producer Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant (NZF) has announced that, following its decision to increase its output, it has recommissioned its silicomanganese melting furnaces No. 18 and No. 17 which had been idle for eight months.

Accordingly, in July NZF plans to produce more than 55,000 mt of ferroalloys.

NZF's production capacities allow it to produce one million mt of silicomanganese per year, 250,000 mt per year of high carbon ferromanganese, and more than 15,000 mt per year of medium carbon ferromanganese. About 75 percent of NZF's products are directed to the export markets.
