Ukraine’s Ukrzaliznytsia restricts iron ore shipments to US Steel Košice

Ukrainian railway company Ukrzaliznytsia has announced that it has imposed certain restrictions on the transportation of iron ore to Slovakia-based US Steel Košice, a subsidiary of Pennsylvania-based US Steel.

The restriction, which will apply to transportation of iron ore and iron ore concentrate to Haniska pri Košiciach station in Slovakia in the direction of US Steel Košice, entered into force on December 8, and will be valid until further notification.
