Unemployment in Turkey decreases to 8.6% in September

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the unemployment rate in Turkey decreased by 0.5 percentage points year on year to 8.6 percent in September this year and remained stable when compared to the previous month.

Meanwhile, in the given month, the employment rate in Turkey was recorded at 49.7 percent, up by 1.3 percentage points compared to the same month of 2023.
