Unemployment in Turkey down to 10.9% in February from January

According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the unemployment rate in Turkey decreased by 0.3 percentage points year on year to 10.9 percent in February this year, falling 0.2 percentage points from 11.1 percent recorded in January.
 
Meanwhile, in February the employment rate in Turkey increased to 45.3 percent, with a 0.9 percentage point increase compared to the same month of the previous year.
