UNESID: Spanish steel output increases by 2.2 percent in October from September

According to the Spanish steelmakers association UNESID, in October this year Spain’s steel production totaled 1.059 million mt, up by 2.2 percent month on month and down by 0.4 percent year on year.

In the given month, the Spanish steel industry recycled 850,000 mt of scrap to be used for new steel products, increasing by 1.3 percent compared to September and decreasing by 0.5 percent year on year.
