UNESID: Spanish steel output increases by 16.0 percent in September from August

According to the Spanish steelmakers association UNESID, in September this year Spain’s steel production totaled 1.036 million mt, up by 16.0 percent month on month and by 3.6 percent year on year.

In the given month, the Spanish steel industry recycled 839,000 mt of scrap to be used for new steel products, increasing by 26.5 percent compared to August and by 10.9 percent year on year.
