The United States International Trade Commission (US ITC) today announced its determinations in its antidumping and countervailing duty investigations concerning imports of cold-rolled steel flat products from Brazil, India, Korea, Russia, and the United Kingdom that the US Department of Commerce (DOC) has determined are sold in the United States at less than fair value and subsidized by the governments of Brazil, India, Korea, and Russia.
The Commission determined that an industry in the United States is materially injured or threatened with material injury by reason of imports of these products from Brazil, India, Korea, and the United Kingdom.
All six Commissioners found that imports of CRC from Russia are negligible. As a result, no orders will be issued on imports of these products from Russia.
The DOC will now issue countervailing duty orders on imports of these products from Brazil, India, and Korea and antidumping duty orders on imports of these products from Brazil, India, Korea, and the United Kingdom.
