On Thursday, the US International Trade Commission (ITC) made its determinations in the sunset review of the antidumping orders against carbon steel butt-weld pipe fittings from Brazil, China, Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand.

As expected, the ITC made affirmative determinations with respect to the orders against all five countries, and the ITC's vote was unanimous (six to zero).

Previously, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) had made affirmative final determinations in its sunset review of these orders.

Accordingly, the antidumping orders against carbon steel butt-weld pipe fittings from Brazil, China, Japan, Taiwan and Thailand will remain in force for a further period of five years.

The merchandise subject to the order is classified in the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS) under item number: 7307.93.30.
