The US International Trade Commission (ITC) will make its preliminary injury determination on September 11, 2009, in the antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations of magnesia carbon bricks from China and the AD investigation of magnesia carbon bricks from Mexico.

If the ITC makes a negative determination, the investigations will be terminated, and no further action will be taken. If, on the other hand, the ITC makes an affirmative determination, the US Department of Commerce will conduct full-scale AD and CVD investigations.
