The US Department of Commerce has announced lower preliminary antidumping duty and countervailing duty margins for all Turkish rebar exporters under the scope of its review investigation.

Accordingly, revised dumping margins for Kaptan Demir and İçdaş stand at 0.91 percent and 1.57 percent, respectively, while Çolakoğlu Dış Ticaret A.Ş., Çolakoğlu Metalurji A.Ş., Habaş and Kaptan Metal were assigned a dumping margin of 1.41 percent.

Additionally, the subsidy rate for Habaş was revised down to 3.8 percent from 15.99 percent determined in 2017.

As SteelOrbis previously reported, final dumping margins calculated in 2017 were 5.39 percent for Habaş, 9.06 percent for İçdaş and 7.43 percent for other exporters.

The final results of both investigations are expected to be announced within the 120 days of publication of the preliminary results.
