US mechanical tubing exports up 6.8 percent in June

According to export data from the US Department of Commerce, US exports of mechanical tubing totaled 6,260 mt in June 2023, up 6.8 percent from May but down 8.9 percent from June 2022. By value, mechanical tubing totaled $18.7 million in June, compared to $18.0 million in the previous month and $23.8 million the same month last year.

The US shipped the most mechanical tubing to Mexico in June with 3,137 mt, compared to 2,909 mt in May and 2,808 mt in June 2022. Other top destinations included Canada, with 2,661 mt. There were no other significant destinations (1,000 mt or more) for US mechanical tubing exports in June.
